Claustrophobia….

Kneeling alone in a corner,  shoulders gravitate to the ground

No point of a return,

No God has yet to be found

Walls start drawing in, the floor is unsteady beneath

Just sitting in this box called life

Waiting to be set free….

No sliver of light,  no melodies for the soul

No path  left to tread, no reason to fight for a goal

The mind tried to tackle the highest of walls

But failure intercepted to pave way for the falls.

The maze is growing larger, the eye now cannot see

When sitting in this box called life

Waiting to be set free….

Screams of anxiety threaten to let go,

The ears to listen out for them, vanished some time ago

The stench of fear is rising, as courage starts to give way

Palms refuse to join together when searching for a way to pray

Lips begin to tremble, the tears begin to spill

As sitting in this box called life

I’m waiting ever so still….
